Golf Event Supporting the Angel Funds of North Side / North Hills Parish Schools…  

For the past ten years, the Tuition Assistance Fund Committee of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, St. Patrick’s Division 4 - North Hills has held a golf outing to benefit the Angel Funds for Catholic  elementary schools located on the North Side / North Hills area.  The schools now are Assumption School ( Bellevue), Blessed Francis Seelos Academy (Wexford), Blessed Trinity Academy (Shaler), Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Academy (Aspinwall), Holy Cross Academy (Ross), Northside Catholic School (Pittsburgh), and St. James (Sewickley). With the recent consolidation of schools, our efforts are still to provide tuition assistance to these schools.  The monies raised to support our endeavor comes solely from our annual golf event, the Irish Heritage Classic, and 100% of the proceeds go to the fund. On March 22, 2018 we proudly donated seven $1000 checks to the schools listed above and overall donation to date is nearly $32,000.   The 2018 Irish Heritage Classic will be held on Monday, September 24th at Diamond Run Golf Club in Ohio Township - 132 Laurel Oak Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143.  Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.  Lunch will follow the event.   If you are a single golfer or can bring a foursome, be an event or tee sponsor, or make a monetary donation to our cause, we will be honored by your support.
